"remember; your goal is to trade well, not trade often." - Alex Elder
Description
Ah the city of Styx, known widely as the trade hub not only of our great country but also one of the largest trade hubs across the world of Selah. Styx is physically a very unique place to live, for it is separated from the rest of Kratos via the Styx River, which flows like a crescent moon on either side of the city, and then back into the ocean. The Styx River runs all the way from the depths of Pallas. Styx does have one temple, which is located at the top of the highest cliff of their city. This temple is to honor the god Aquos of the oceans/seas, who is their guardian protector.
Another thing of note about Styx is how unique of a population it contains; truly a melting pot of kalons, who come from all different walks of life. There are both permanent and temporary marketplaces scattered all throughout the city, and just like these markets, the kalons who take up shop there are a variety of characters. One could buy absolutely anything within the walls of Styx, whether it be majestic robes made of furs of creatures from distant lands, or the simple food for one's dinner table; one can even find magical artifacts from the hidden black market (yes, one of those does exist in Styx).

History
Styx was the first place to be inhabited in the country of Kratos. Since it was right along the coastline, it made sense that it was the first place where the first kalons ships landed. Because of the little two peninsulas that stick out and create a large bay, it was practically calling boats to sail in. Captain Strixer was the leader of the first expedition to the country, back when it was just an unknown land. Once more and more ships began to land, for the Prince Krotan had heard positive things, and decided to make this land his own empire, since he had five older brothers and never would have a country of his own if he didn't go out and make one for himself. Over the years, as more and more kals began to move inland, especially with the creation of the capital city of Zelus, the cities along the coastlines, especially Styx, continued to grow more and more.
