"ah yes, darling Silas. he's a demi-god you know, although not for the reason that many think. he is believed to be my son, that i birthed him after consummation with a mortal, but that is most definitely not the case. Silas was born completely mortal, to a pair of mortal kalons who did not care for their son worth a damn. i saw him be born, saw his parents cast him away to die, helpless and alone in the forest. i saw something in him, in his spirit, in the aura he radiated even then; looking into the future briefly i sensed greatness in store, and i knew i must help him. i gave him a gift; i infused magic into his very being, into his blood, his dna. i made him half god, half mortal. although not born to me, in many ways i consider him a son. the other gods tend to dislike meddling in the affairs of mortals, as they say, and some shunned me for a period after my blessing of him, but i did not, nor do i now care. although i have not physically gone into the mortal realm and been in his presence since that day, i travel to him often in dreams, especially when he calls out to me, seeking my help, my advice. Silas, this ghost, he is my prodigy."

"Myrina is a direct descendant of the great mortal priestess Pallastina; she is known for truly bringing the gods into Kratos, for building our temples of worship, for keeping us alive. because of this, i, as well as the other gods, have kept an eye on any and all of her bloodline over the years. Pallastina helped us in a time of need, and so i believe it is our duty to return the favor to her descendants, since we were unable to repay it in her lifetime. Myrina comes to my temple often, and i find myself intrigued enough to actually speak with her. she has always been fascinated with magic, and while that is technically only one of my many talents, i feed her curiosity with answers, although i likely cause more questions to form than i could possibly ever answer in her lifetime. there was one time she came to me, seeking help for a friend of hers. he had been cursed by a witch of some sort in a foreign land, and he was seeking refuge in our holy city. Myrina had offered him sanctuary in her temple of Themis, but needed help with the curse. it was given to him for good reason, and so while i did not take it off permanently, while he resides within the walls of my Kratos, i allow him to be freed of its shackles, to prevent him from causing any unnecessary harm to my people."
